Community Impact Fellowship
History
In 2020, Asian Prisoner Support Committee successfully launched our first ever Community Impact Fellowship program with three amazing individuals who paroled from prison. Since it’s launch, APSC has hosted ten interns from across the nation and internationally.
APSC’s internship program supports formerly incarcerated people by providing work experience, professional development, mentorship, opportunities for community based projects and more.
Since our launch, our interns have zero rate of recidivism, all are gainfully employed, and continue to give back to their communities.
“The internship program has provided me grounding when I felt the most insecure. Through APSC’s support I gained a network of supporters, mentors and importantly the skills I would need to thrive. I highly encourage anyone with the opportunity to do so, to take advantage of this program.”
